Well, this is part of the film script Rach and I are working on. However, we're a bit stuck...Any ideas?
Basic outline, so far:
Scene One:
:::Camera filming the dunes while narrator talks:::
Narrator: The Desert Ninjas. A name that sent shivers down anyone’s spine. A wandering group of men, dressed all in black, from their shoes to their masks, feared throughout the land. They never killed anyone, only traveled from place to place, always stopping and looking through the crowds of people, as if searching for something – or someone. :::Ninjas seen running across the dunes:::
Option 1: Cut to girl trudging up dune, singing to herself and glancing around warily.
Option 2: Girls making campfire/looking for wood. One hears something, climbs to top of small dune, etc… in this case we don’t need to know why the girls are out there – it could be any reason, it’s not really important for this one.

:::Ninjas come up on all sides of the dunes, bearing different sorts of larps:::
:::girl sees them and turns in all directions, terrified. Sees gap, turns and runs:::
:::Ninja’s leader chases after her, dashing down the dune. Ninja1 has 2 longer larps:::
:::Ninja1 falls down and tumbles down the side of the dune, losing a larp:::
:::Girl picks larp up and continues down towards Ninja1:::
:::Begin to larp:::
:::Ninja1 knocks larp out of girl’s hand and she falls down, trying to reach for the larp:::
:::Ninja1 sticks his larp under girl’s chin, and she turns to look at him, terror in her eyes:::
Ninja1: Get up.
:::moves larp, girl starts getting up, Ninja1 grabs her arm and helps her the rest of the way up. Motions for her to go up the dune:::
:::Girl dashes and tries to run away, but Ninja1 stops her:::
Ninja1: No way, you’re not going anywhere. :::half drags up dune, girl glaring all the way:::
We still need to know why the ninjas are chasing the girls…. I think so far our best idea is that they’re Ninja1’s lost sisters… but that seems kinda stupid.
But why else?
We’re not from Pluto or anything like that….

if i were you i would just continue to write the story and figure out the why later. if their kidnapping her, then right it from her angle. i mean, just write what the girl knows at the time. 4 now, anyways.

figure out where they are taking her before you figure out why because that is what the girls would know first, so that is what the audience should know first 'cuz then u got suspense.

maybe the girls are really good singers and the ninjas what them to record an album for them so their kidnapping them. or they want to hear their voices forever so they are going to force them into singing ninja songs.
or how about the girls are master minds at connect 4 and the ninjas are jealous so they are going to torture them into playing endless games until the girls reveal their secrets.
yeah.
or they know where the wonka chocolate factory is located and the ninjas are going to force them to take them there. then the ninjas will poisine the chocolate with mind controlling ingredients that will make anyone who eats the chocolate under their control with the goal of taking over the entire universe.
or maybe the girls own every bonanza show and the ninjas were never aloud to watch bonanza as kids, so they are tormented on the inside.
or maybe the ninjas are really flying monkeys and the girls are dorothy’s cousins.
or maybe the girls owe a huge library fine and the flying monkeys work for the evil fine collector.
or maybe the girl is mary jane and the ninjas are spiderman’s friends and peter is having them ‘kidnapp’ her for their honeymoon to take her to the chocolate factory.
or the ninjas are hobbits and the girls are the girls that the hobbits always wanted to marry and this was the only way they could think of to get their attention.

Haha, those ideas are funny... some of them have pretty good ideas in them... Rach and I are having a brainstorming session hopefully soon... maybe we'll get some answers then.
Wow, Berylla has a bunch a good ideas! I still think you should be from Pluto though. And you don't have to look like an alien to act like one.
